Natural Oxygen Bar Paradise Lake National Wetland Park
Tiantang Lake National Wetland Park is located in Jiuzihe Town, Luotian County, Huanggang City, Hubei Province. It is an AAA scenic area with artificial reservoir lakes as the main body of mountain and water tourism. With a single pole, the blue glass is broken, and the seventy-two peaks are green to the eyebrows. The shadows of the clouds follow the fragrance of the flowers, and the mountain light moves with the sound of oars. The scenic area is surrounded by mountains, with rippling lake waves and occasional clouds and mist. There are many scenic spots, with winding lake shorelines, making it a popular leisure destination for mountain and lake sightseeing. The wetland in the lake area combines the dual advantages of water and land, with high relative humidity and negative oxygen ion content, and is known as the "natural oxygen bar". The "Heavenly Lake" is like a precious mirror embedded among the peaks at the southern foot of the Dabie Mountains, forming a landscape painting of "mountains and waters hidden, clouds and mist swirling, high gorges emerging from flat lakes, and scattered villages and houses". Here, the natural landscape is beautiful, and its "lake" is like a huge natural shaped treasure mirror embedded between the peaks of Tiantangzhai, Bijiashan, Bodaofeng, etc., forming a landscape painting of "mountains and waters hidden, clouds and mist swirling, high gorges emerging from flat lakes, and scattered village houses". Scenic spots such as Chang'e Gorge, Moon Island, and Camel Robe Treasure, along with imaginative legends and stories, complement the beauty of the mountains and waters. This is a gathering and dispersing area for flora and fauna, with a total of 529 species of vascular plants and 2 species of national first-class protected plants, namely Ginkgo biloba and Metasequoia; There are four species of plants under national level II protection, namely lotus, camphor tree, Eucommia ulmoides, and wild soybean; There are a total of 148 species of vertebrates, including 2 national level I protected animals, namely the Chinese merry and the white crane; There are 7 species of wild animals under national level II protection and over 50 species of key protected animals at or above the provincial level. Here, the folk culture is profound, and the folk opera Dongqiang Opera is known as the "living fossil" of Chinese drama. The unique tone of folk music is also included in the list of intangible cultural heritage protection in Hubei Province. Here, the land is blessed with talented people and famous figures emerge. Emperor Xu Shouhui of Tianwan launched a peasant uprising and established the "Tianwan" regime; Yu Sansheng, the founder of Peking Opera, brought the Huizhou opera troupe to Beijing and gained fame in the pear orchard. Fishery culture, agricultural culture, and reservoir evolution culture have all added rare charm to the tourism culture of Tiantang Lake.
